I finished reading Sarah Addison Allen’s novel, “The Girl Who Chased the Moon” last night. Such a beautiful and magical story! I wanna share with you my favorite quote in the entire story. Here it goes:
“There’s this promise of happiness out there. I know it. I even feel it sometimes. But it’s like chasing the moon —just when I think I have it, it disappears into the horizon. I grieve and try to move on, but then the damn thing comes back the next night, giving me hope of catching it all over again.” -Julia Winterson
There’s always hope in everything, guys. Never give up on chasing the moon because the right time for you to catch its light will come. Just keep on believing. :)
So cuuute! Adorable little boy! :)

I have been a fan of Sarah Dessen’s novels since December 2009. I learned about Sarah Dessen in one of Candy EIC Ms. Mia’s blog entries. If I remember it right, she blogged about Along for the Ride. I also read good reviews about Sarah Dessen and her other novels so the next time I visited a bookstore, I got myself a copy of a Dessen novel. My first book was Someone Like You, which I finished in 2 days! Then I bought other titles and enjoyed reading them as well. I learned a lot from them too. :)

This book, What Happened To Goodbye, is the latest title from Sarah Dessen. I’ll share with you my favorite quotes from the story:
“Once you loved something, you always loved it in some way. You have to. It’s like part of you for good.”
“Amazing how you could get so far from where you’d planned, and yet find it was exactly where you needed to be.”
“We make such messes in this life, both accidentally and on purpose. But wiping the surface clean doesn’t really make anything any neater. It just masks what is below. It’s only when you really dig down deep, go underground, that you can see who you really are.”
“Home wasn’t a set house, or a single town on a map. It was wherever the people who loved you were, wherever you were together. Not a place but a moment, and then another, building on each other like bricks to create a solid shelter that you take with you for your entire life, wherever you may go.”
“Your past is always your past. Even if you forget it, it remembers you.”
“Anything’s possible.”
